Hi there,
I’m Christophe Barriolade, co-founder of TakeTurns with @mickael_chevalier.
We’re excited to launch TakeTurns, a new way to collaborate without the chaos.
We founded TakeTurns because we believe that effective collaboration on documents and files with clients, partners–or any party–needs to be structured, secure, and transparent for everyone.
It’s time to stop using email with its chaotic message threads and attachments.
TakeTurns is a secure shared workspace where two parties collaborate on documents and files turn-by-turn. Each party keeps using its favorite tools to create and edit docs, but uses TakeTurns to share, request and review. It’s simple and transparent: it’s always crystal clear who you’re working with, what you’ve shared, and when it’s your turn to work.
Why use TakeTurns over email?
🔁 Structured
Leave behind all those messy emails threads with attachments, in TakeTurns your work is organized turn-by-turn and by collaboration
🔐 Secure
You have full control over who participates and their roles. And our ephemeral storage approach helps you avoid the security and compliance issues associated with persisting sensitive data in mail servers.
🤝 Transparent
Both parties have full visibility on who did what, when, and what’s left to do. Transparency builds trust between parties and improves the collaboration experience for everyone.
We already have an active community of early adopters using TakeTurns:
⚖️ Lawyers performing contract reviews,
🏦 Investors negotiating term sheets and deals,
💼 Account execs sharing proposals,
🏡 Mortgage brokers (and others!) requesting documentation,
🔑 Compliance teams focused on verifying customer identities for KYC
🧮 Accountants performing monthly reporting for clients …
They all report experiencing better clarity and productivity in these collaborations. And we think you’ll have the same experience.
We invite you to sign up for an account. If you subscribe today and use the code TT4PH you’ll get 25% off your subscription for the first year. Alternatively, you can also try it out for 30 days free–no credit card required.
Please let us know what you think and if you have any issues using the product.
We look forward to your feedback!
Thanks,
Christophe and the TakeTurns Team
PS: The idea of TakeTurns came to me years ago when my kids started pre-school 🚌 in NYC. The first thing they learned was to take turns! So why not apply this basic concept to the way we work?

Congratulations to TakeTurns, 💪 the collaboration platform, and how you work together without chaos. I'll take advantage of being organized, secure, and transparent by registering today with code TT4PH!
On behalf of the entire industry, I extend my warmest congratulations on the launch of your exceptional new product. The level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that has gone into its development is truly impressive. From its cool aesthetics to its practical functionalities, it is evident that you have gone above and beyond to create a product that will captivate users and set new standards. 🥳
@christophe_barriolade@mickael_chevalier & the TakeTurns team. Congratulations on your launch. Just yesterday I watched your video library describing TakeTurns' use cases for various personas found on your home page at www.taketurns.co. It's easy to visualize how TT will rein-in the chaos that's common to collaborations outside the organization. I'm even curious if there aren't examples of internal use cases too. The collaboration between engineering and production comes to mind as they collaborate to bring new products to market which can then extend to supply chain and its external collaboration needs TT has highlighted. Exciting launch!
@mickael_chevalier@ken_brown3 Thanks Ken. Yes we also see internal scenarios where two parties need to work at a certain pace (asynchronous) or at arm's length: HR <> employee, Compliance <> Departments, R&D <> Sales... I wrote recently a blog post on the return of asynchronous collaboration: https://www.taketurns.com/post/t...
