TagCompanion creator here, a marketer with 20+ years in the trenches who's spent way too many late nights wrestling with Google Tag Manager.
GTM is amazing... if you're a developer. For the rest of us? Endless trial-and-error with CSS selectors, nth childs, waiting on devs for AJAX forms or eCommerce events, and compromising on tracking accuracy. So, I got tired of it and I built Tag Companion.
