I built TabTar because bookmarks often tell me where a page was, but not why I saved it or what I was doing when I found it. Clipboard snippets are even easier to lose.
TabTar turns two keyboard shortcuts into a lightweight memory layer for browser work:
K reviews and saves the current Chrome page context.
L searches saved Contexts and local Clipboard history.
Optional organization uses an OpenAI-compatible endpoint you provide.
How did GPT-5.6 change the ambition or scope of what you shipped?
