The positivity surrounding this application seems suspiciously tied to a reward system, where users receive 100 credits for reviews, casting doubt on the authenticity of most of the praise.

Ease of Use: Admittedly, this app is relatively straightforward to navigate.
No Technical Expertise Needed: One saving grace is that it doesn't require any coding knowledge or complex dependencies for installation or operation.
Limited Free Usage: Users are offered 10 free swaps per day, albeit with an unsightly watermark.
No Training Required: At least it doesn't demand extensive training.
But here's where the facade crumbles, and the true lackluster nature of this application is exposed:

Numerous superior, free alternatives on GitHub offer enhanced quality, customization, and performance. It's worth noting that the much-touted Nvidia Acceleration is essentially just a downloadable Nvidia CUDA toolkit, available for free elsewhere, and other alternatives have already seamlessly integrated this feature into their applications. In essence, steer clear of this subpar offering if you value your time and resources until the dev release a good major update.

I'm one of the first people to use deepfake sothis is why we created Swapface: to make deepfake easily and quickly and let everyone enjoy the convenience brought by AI, not just experts.
We are a startup that has invested nearly two years of research and development time to create Swapface that can benefit more users. We have been offering it for free to users since its launch.
For free users, we simply add a small watermark at the bottom of the image. If you dislike it, you have the option to pay to remove the watermark.
For as little as one dollar per day, you can enjoy up to 50 face swaps for images, 50 face swaps for videos, and unlimited live face swaps. Additionally, we do not impose any restrictions on video duration, making our pricing highly reasonable compared to other apps that charge per minute.
Due to limited resources in the early stages, we prioritized developing the Windows version, which I believe is not a disadvantage. However, we are currently working on the Mac version and expect to have it completed within the next one to two months, enabling support for a broader user base.
Graphics card acceleration is a new endeavor aimed at fully utilizing the user's local resources. Bugs are inevitable as hardware compatibility can be a challenging issue. However, we have already resolved most of the graphics card acceleration issues and are actively reaching out to users who encounter problems. As for the Privacy Concerns: We don't access or save your meida data. All the data is processed locally, that's why we don't limit the length of user videos. We only save the uploaded faces to make it more convenient for users, and you can delete them at anytime. You can monitor your network traffic when use Swapface, it's easy to verify.
Constant Internet Tethering Required is because Swapface is at risk of being hacked. More than one person has threatened to crack our system in our community. To be honest, we would also like to develop an offline version if there were no risk of being cracked. This would be much easier and low cost then online version. But currently we have no choice.
If you had been following our product from the beginning, you would have noticed that we are iterating and optimizing it at the fastest pace possible (we have completed dozens of version upgrades this year). I acknowledge that there are some issues with certain details, but in the near future, it will become even more perfect.
