What's great

Been building and experimenting with Suno for 3 years now. At this point, it’s less of an 'AI tool' and more of a studio partner. The biggest value for me is keeping ideas alive. I bring the original lyrics, and when a new Suno model drops, I can revisit an old melody direction and finally hear it the way it sounded in my head.

I definitely still want more control over song structure—getting the vocals totally consistent and precise editing is still a battle. But the leap in quality over the years is insane. I’ve generated thousands of tracks and I'm still coming back for more. Exciting to see where you take it next

What needs improvement

I definitely still want more control over the song structure. Specifically, the post-generation vocal editing isn't quite there yet and it's still hard to tweak or fix a vocal once the track is rendered. That being said, the quality of the initial vocal generation has gotten so good that it's almost perfect right out of the gate. If they can bring that same level of perfection to the editing workflow, it will be flawless.

vs Alternatives

I've experimented with other AI music generators like Udio. While others can have interesting raw audio textures, Suno consistently wins for me when it comes to overall musical coherence and how well it understands and adapts to my original lyrics. Suno feels much more geared towards actual song-building rather than just generating short, random audio snippets.

I’ve used Suno casually for years, especially during creative bursts when I wanted to explore different genres or needed a custom track for a video. Several times it gave me exactly the inspiration I was looking for. It’s easy to use, and the team keeps making it better. Even now, I’m still astonished each time I hear my words come to life in music.

What needs improvement

1 - Still hard to get a consistent voice. The clone feature and other premium tools help, but I’m often trying to match a voice across different versions and can’t quite get there.

2- rendering queue management...I’d love a way to delete or hide mis-generations. I run a lot of 'generates' before landing on the right one, and my list of tracks gets messy. Would be great to clear out the ones that totally missed the prompt.

3- editing is improving, but some of it is clunky when trying to mix two or five versions together.

vs Alternatives

When I started with Suno, I wasn’t aware of other tools. It worked great from for what I needed, so I just stuck with it. Haven’t felt the need to look elsewhere.

Suno is a great helper in terms of quickly creating and expressing your musical ideas. I am pretty happy to use this tool to make fun stuff for my friends and social media. The updates are frequent and cool. I highly appreciate the editing feature, the possibility of customizing the music material development, and the new algorithm that gets melodies from custom audio of you humming a melody, allowing you to move forward quickly in developing your song ideas.

What needs improvement

Sometimes songs tend to shift to hard rock, as it seems to be the popular generation mode

It's a great tool for generate musical ideas or inspiration. Outputs are accurate and result in great tunes.

What needs improvement

Maybe I miss having some kind of declarative prompt, in the sense that you could give it instructions to improve certain parts of the track. For example: “I like the guitar solo, add more distortion and delays to make it more present.”

Anyway, I think it’s an amazing tool. Cheers.

vs Alternatives

I've used it from the early versions of the platform, I just feel comfortable with the interface. Great community and quick improvements also helped me to choose it.

What needs improvement

I tried using the Suno AI music app, but the signup process was really disappointing. It doesn’t allow email signup and forces you to provide a phone number. This completely ruined the experience for me. An app should offer multiple signup options, especially for users who prefer privacy. Suno needs to fix this.
