Subprocessor Registry started because this kept coming up over and over again: security teams asking for subprocessor lists, and companies replying with PDFs or spreadsheets that were already out of date the moment they were sent. Those files get emailed around, copied, slightly edited, and pretty quickly nobody knows which version is actually current. We wanted a single canonical URL that always reflects the latest disclosure, clearly shows when it was last published, and creates a real record when changes happen. The goal isn’t to add more compliance work. It’s to make this part of security and vendor reviews simpler for everyone involved.
