honestly this is a solid little tool. plugged in a few subs i forgot i was paying for and seeing the annual waste number actually stung in a good way. the no-account-required part is what got me to try it.
this is a problem i've definitely fallen into before, forgot about a couple of tools i was still paying for last year. one thing that would make it way more useful is a quick export to csv or a simple shareable summary so i can hand it to my accountant or bookkeeper without retyping everything
Tried it with a few of my own subscriptions and was honestly a bit shocked at the annual number. The no-account approach makes it painless, would use this quarterly as a gut check.
Really like the no-account-needed approach, that alone makes me more willing to try it. One thing that would be super useful is letting me upload a bank or card statement and auto detecting recurring charges from there, instead of typing each subscription manually. That would turn a 2 minute task into about 10 seconds and probably catch things I forgot about. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves.
Love the no-account friction here, that's smart. One thing I'd add though is a bank connection option so it can auto-detect recurring charges rather than making me type them all in manually. Even a Plaid integration for US users would make this ten times stickier and way more accurate than relying on memory.
Took about 90 seconds and found three subscriptions I had completely forgotten about, one of which was charging me $40/month for over a year. Clean interface and the waste summary was brutally honest.
