As an entrepreneur interested in the global startups scene, it can be difficult to find information about companies that aren't in highly developed markets. Startup Universal consolidates knowledge into one friendly platform that allows me to learn about new companies and connect with other entrepreneurs on an international level. I love using it and would highly recommend!
Impressive work @jonathan_moed! Hard to find reliable info on investors and startups for underreported cities but this can fill that gap. I think it's also helpful for companies thinking about expanding to new territories that need on the ground support from startup peers that have already navigated that city (think finding local lawyers, understanding regulations, networks/meetups, etc.). When you need to figure out UK, let me know :)
Thanks @jesse_shemen! That's a great point: as startups are ready to scale to new markets, they need localized support and a deep market understanding. Startup Universal is a great starter resource in these cases.

@charles_miglietti Thanks for the support! There are some great resources at a country level, but Startup Universal is meant to be a single centralized source for high-quality information and news. We work hard to source this information locally so that you don't need to reinvent the wheel each time you're researching an ecosystem, and so that you don't need to worry about the credibility of the information.
