Starlie is for the Jira work you do every day: find an issue, see what’s going on, update it, leave a comment, move it across the board, and get back to work. Smooth Kanban drag and drop, quick filters, JQL autocomplete, custom fields, Quick Look, reminders, and ⌘K for recent issues. Works with Jira Cloud and self-hosted Jira too. Private by design, with no analytics or tracking. Open coding tasks in Claude Code or Codex with issue context and your local project attached.

That sounds promising -I think I'll give it a try.
Good luck with the launch!
@maria_anosova Thanks so much, that means a lot! Hope you enjoy it and I'd love to hear what you think once you've tried it
jira in a browser tab is such a specific kind of pain, glad someone's fixing it natively. curious how it handles custom workflows though - every org I've worked at has admin-locked transitions (can't skip straight to Done, needs approval first, that kind of thing). does starlie read those rules from the Jira project config, or is there a risk of showing a transition that the server will just reject?
@galdayan Thanks, glad it resonates! Starlie shows only the transitions that are actually available for the issue. So if your workflow does require approval before Done, you won't see a shortcut that the server would reject
@davvie that's the right call, reading real server state beats a hardcoded workflow guess every time. good to know it won't dead-end on a rejected transition.
