@jack_bridger That. you can export your auto-generated Terraform from StackBricks and run it on your own, so never locked into a vendor or a tool

@naveed_rehman thank you!!

Hey Makers and Hunters! One of the founders here. At Digger our mission is quite simple actually - to build a developer platform that makes sense. Because what is out there today does't. 🤯 Why are we building the app and infrastructure for it separately?! Why cannot we just start with something that works end-to-end and change it along the way? āŒ Well that's because infrastructure is kinda hard... And you need to know some devops stuff to use powerful cloud providers like AWS... So maybe just deploy the app to smth like Firebase or Heroku for now and figure it out later... šŸ’„ Wait. How about just start with a stack just like yours that works out of the box end-to-end, and then simply replace dummy apps with your code?! That's StackBricks - build your app like Lego! 🧱 āœ… Start with a pre-built stack āœ… Simply connect your AWS & GitHub āœ… Customize later āœ… JAMstack āœ… Microservices āœ… APIs āœ… Databases Super keen to hear your feedback - give it a try!

What other apps are coming? How much will a simple app cost on my AWS bill?
Igor Zalutski
@matas_jonys Thanks for asking! We have a bunch of exciting stuff on the roadmap. Like frontend-specific stack presets as well as framework-specific for Django / Ruby on Rails / MEAN and even LAMP. Plus more UI goodness like environment tags, hierarchical overrides, and much more. Re cost estimation - believe it or not, this is something we are working on as we speak! In one of the next versions you'll be able to see an estimate of AWS costs before you deploy. At the moment for each container by default we provision an ECS Fargate task with 0.25 vCPU (can be changed) which costs roughly $7 per month, plus load balancer - more details here https://aws.amazon.com/fargate/p...
