Sprivex is a knowledge-sharing network built around short "waves" ā one thought, one idea, one observation at a time. No infinite feed, no engagement-optimized algorithm. Every 5 days a Vortex randomly drops a new topic into your stream so you keep discovering ideas outside your bubble.

Hi PH š maker here.
I built Sprivex because I got tired of social platforms where the algorithm decides what's worth reading. Every "feed" I opened was optimized for time-on-app, not for the quality of what landed in front of me.
Sprivex is a small experiment in the opposite direction:
⢠You publish "Waves" ā short-form thoughts (think: a tweet with intent, not a status update). One wave = one idea.
⢠You pick a Spring (a topic area) at signup. That's your home stream.
⢠Every 5 days a "Vortex" randomly assigns you a second topic as an Inflow ā so you're constantly exposed to ideas outside your bubble, without choosing them yourself.
⢠Instead of likes, readers can Lift a wave (mark it as practical / inspiring / mind-shifting) or Ripple it (add a thought, not just a reaction).
It's in closed beta ā 500 spots, no credit card, no ads, beta is free forever. I'd love brutal feedback on:
1. Does the "no algorithm + forced topic rotation" actually feel useful or just gimmicky?
2. Is "Wave / Spring / Vortex" terminology helpful or in the way?
3. What would make you publish your first wave (vs just lurking)?
Happy to answer anything in the thread. Thanks for taking a look š
