👋 Hey world and Product Hunt community! At the end of November last year, for my birthday, I spent a weekend in Florence with my lifelong friends. It was Saturday evening, and the city felt timeless, the air, the lights, the people. As the sun set over Piazzale Michelangelo, everything turned magical, and a girl I noticed there, alone, wearing black gloves and reading a book, seemed even more magical than the view itself. I went up to her, introduced myself, but mostly, it was all in the eyes. Asking for her contact didn’t feel right, it would’ve broken the magic of that moment. Almost a year later, here we are, launching the first version of spodded, an app born from that moment, created with one goal: to make sure no one ever loses a glance, a conversation, or a shared moment again. Launched in mid September, it’s been live for just over a month, and spods have already been created across more than 20 countries in over 4 continents, all just from commenting on related videos on TikTok. We’re only at the beginning, we’re looking for the stars 💫 the spodded team
