Most budgeting apps just show you a tidier version of your bank statement after the fact. I wanted something that asks the question before the money is already spent, or at least the moment you log it: was this something you needed, or something you just felt like buying. Spenrol reads your payment screenshots so you don't have to type anything in, tracks required vs optional vs impulsive spending, and gives you one number each day, safe-to-spend-today, so you know where you stand without doing math.
