Clean AF! I already love fast.com and Google's own Internet Speed Test, but for someone that spends more than half his day in Terminal, you gotta love how simple and beautiful this is.

Been using this with my Raspberry Pi and a cron job to test and record my internet speed every hour for the past month or so. Gives me some good ammunition when my ISP tells me they are increasing service prices.

speed-test reports around half of the ping, download and upload speed that speedtest.net reports

Pros:

Clean interface, easy to use, export to JSON useful for automation

Cons:

Reported results are not consistent with my actual speed and reports from speedtest.net
