I was very happy to be apart of the team technical building this. One thing that I'm proud of, and it's the thing that makes this stand apart from other apps, is that we trained a custom model to specifically detect election spam in addition to the usual kinds of spam like scams, promotional, etc... We all want you to still be politically active and get out there and vote! But in the meantime, Super PACs don't have an unlimited right to your inbox.

Excited for this to get into more hands! I’ve never really understood how it’s not illegal for my phone number to be spread around so many campaigns without my consent after I repeatedly STOP or unsubscribe. Then I found out that this is apparently standard practice among our political parties and campaigns run under one of them. Whenever I’ve brought this up at a dinner party I always get “omg yesss” and people literally will stop me mid sentence to download the app, so clearly I’m not the only one…
