SpacePlanner is a free online planner for rooms, homes, apartments, gardens and outdoor spaces. The editor opens instantly; no signup to start drawing. Draft in 2D, switch to a 3D architectural view, and design indoor + outdoor together on one canvas.

How does the free version actually hold up once your project gets more detailed, like with custom furniture imports or exporting to CAD files?
@ruzgar1320 Thanks for the question! much appreciated.
I'm deliberately not trying to be AutoCAD. Those are deep pro tools with a real learning curve, and most people don't need 90% of it. Think Canva vs Photoshop. Canva didn't win by matching every Photoshop feature, it won by giving normal people a fast, clean way to design without the overhead. That's the lane here. So for a detailed project, it holds up great for laying out rooms, walls, doors, furniture, multi-level and a 3D walkthrough, but if your workflow truly depends on custom asset imports and CAD precision, a pro tool is still the right call. For everyone who just wants to sketch a space quickly and actually finish, that's exactly who I'm building for.
How does it handle exporting the final layout to something like SketchUp or AutoCAD, or is it more of a standalone tool right now?
@emirhan215488 Thanks for the question!
Right now it's a standalone tool, and that's kind of the point. I'm not trying to be a lighter SketchUp or export into that pipeline. It's aimed at people who want to sketch a space fast and clearly without learning a CAD program, more Canva than Photoshop. You can export to SVG, PNG and a structured JSON of the whole plan today, so you get a clean shareable output, just not a DWG/DXF round-trip. If enough people tell me they need to hand off into CAD, I'll look at DXF, but the core mission is staying simple and usable for normal people, not matching the pro tools feature for feature.
