Space takes a browser to the next level and reorganise the way we handle tabs. It’s made for power users and takes typical desktop like features to a mobile device.
@yosayyay Hey!
We worked with the guys from Refresh in the beginning, but unfortunately they were not interested in turning their concept into a real product with us.
That's why we rethought the design, brought in our own ideas and have many ideas planned for the future.
You can check out our blog post, if you wanna know more about our story :)
Hey, I'm Johannes one of the co-founders of the Space Browser ✌🏼
Together with my co-founder Dominik we built Space Browser over the last year. As developers, we always had the problem of having 50 tabs or more open at the same time. We thought that managing a lot of open tabs that span across different tasks should be easier to handle. Also there should be an intuitive way to recall your tabs.
That's why we built Space Browser - The first mobile browser made for power users.
We organize your tabs into spaces, which act like smart folders and we make it easy to recall your tabs with the help of our rethought history, where you can travel back in time to restore entire sessions or just that one tab you were searching for.
Space takes a browser to the next level and reorganise the way we handle tabs.
We have a ton of ideas to improve Space Browser, what do you think we should tackle next?
A big thank you goes out to some great people that helped us with their expertise and feedback to improve this product:

Browser looks nice but where is the Android version? You're literally skipping a huge subset of users that outnumber iOS and iPad users by almost 2 to 1.

Nice, but some operating system already have a time line feature, so it's not just been to tabs yhst you can go back to, instead, even exact app submenus, would love it if you browser could Flex Web pages, I mean c'mon who wants s glaring white Google homepage? Modify bgcolor and bingo! Eye fatigue gone! Also how about a CLI ticker at the bottom status bar which shows exactly what the browser is doing example connecting to server, negotiating security, Web timeout, 5G is getting interference from your dual band router etc etc etc

Do you plan to release a desktop version (Windows and Linux)? Maybe it's me that don't understand but the main tool that a software developer use is a computer (laptop or desktop)... So the tabs that we open a lot in a day are on a desktop browser, not on a mobile...
@lachlankirkwood Thank you!
We used https://rotato.xyz by @mortenjust for the 3D mockups and After Effects for cutting the videos and the text animations.
Though yesterday was the first time I ever used After Effects and I just finished the video last night 😅
Great browser that is finally worthy of the iPad Pro’s screen real estate. Love the tab organization. Been beta testing this for a while and have converted a ton of my coworkers. Love it.
