SourceAnt connects your code, the services it depends on, and the decisions behind it. It brings that context into code reviews and your agents’ work, so every change builds on what your team already knows.

I started SourceAnt because my codebases were growing faster than I could keep up with them. I needed somewhere to keep the important learnings and decisions from my coding sessions, instead of having to provide the same context again every time.
I also wanted a way to make that context available to my coding agents.
I was also fed up with code review tools. They produced too much noise, often missed the context that mattered, and knew little about the other services a change depended on. Their per-seat pricing also didn't make much sense to me. I wanted to pay for what we actually used.
While building SourceAnt, I became convinced the problem was bigger than code review. We are producing software faster than ever. Soon, keeping track of why our software works the way it does may be harder than writing it, even with AI.
I think code intelligence and knowledge management will become a major category in software development. As code gets easier to produce, understanding it and preserving the knowledge around it becomes more important.
We’re building SourceAnt to help teams produce high-quality software without adding more process. We provide powerful code review harnesses, persistent code knowledge, cross-repository context, and tools that make that knowledge available to both developers and their agents, at a cost that works for organizations of all sizes.
SourceAnt is still early, and there is a lot we want to improve.
If you’re dealing with these problems too, I’d love to hear about how they show up in your team, what you’ve tried, and what you wish worked better.
Code review is becoming a bottleneck for many teams, especially high-activity teams sending tens or hundreds of PRs every week. As that volume grows, so does the cost of reviewing it.
If review costs or noisy reviews are already a problem for your team, we’re offering a free one-month SourceAnt pilot.
You can onboard your organization and repositories at app.sourceant.ai.
SourceAnt is BYOK and supports several models, including low-cost options like DeepSeek and Gemini 2.5 Flash, as well as models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Some teams have had particularly good results with DeepSeek at a very low cost.
If you have questions about setting it up for your repositories, or want to talk about how your team handles code review today, please leave a comment.
