Analyze music contracts with AI. Get instant insights, red flags, and industry benchmarks for recording, publishing, and producer deals.

Hey Product Hunt, Tushar here š
Quick background: I've been a producer and songwriter for 15 years, signed to Warner Chappell Music. Credits include BTS, Blackpink, Demi Lovato, and Benson Boone. I've also worked a parallel track in tech for over a decade and have been part of an exit team on one of the most impactful music Ai startups of this time.
Here's the thing most people don't realize about the music industry: the contracts are a mess. I've watched incredibly talented artists sign publishing deals they didn't understand, producer agreements with hidden reversion clauses, sync licenses with impossible-to-meet "key man" provisions. They lose hundreds of thousands of dollars ā sometimes millions ā because they can't afford the $500/hour entertainment lawyer every deal actually requires.
I built SoundDeal to fix that.
Upload any music contract ā recording, publishing, producer, sync, distribution, management, 360 deals ā and get:
ā A deal health score (0ā100)
ā Red flags with severity ratings
ā Financial terms benchmarked against 8,000+ real industry contracts
ā Suggested redlines and negotiation points
ā Missing clauses that should be there
The AI is specifically trained on music industry deals (not generic legal docs), which is why it catches things ChatGPT won't ā reversion triggers, controlled composition clauses, cross-collateralization traps, re-record restrictions.
Free to try (one full analysis), with paid plans for multiple analysis through to multi-use for management companies, agencies and large enterprise. We're about to announce a big pilot with a world-leading entertainment brand in August and rolling out to their artists over the coming months.
Would genuinely love your feedback ā and I'm curious: have you or anyone you know ever signed a creative-industry contract you wish you'd understood better? (Doesn't have to be music.) The stories I hear are wild.
Thanks @hunter for the hunt š
