Create music by drawing curves over the screen. Your gestures will be remembered and played back continuously. Record your own sounds through the microphone and start creating melodies, soundscapes with your own voice.
Good idea really thinking outside the boxbut com'n even the creators couldn't figure out how to actually make/draw something worth listening to in their promotion video, how do they expect other people to.
What kind of value is this product supposed to add to its uses?
@kanetmike@stephenmarklevi thanks for your feedback, indeed, it's a toy for everyone, not a tool for pros. one value might be the creative flow of playing around freely with your own captured sounds
Fyi, there are some useful improvements in the recent updates, based on suggestions by the community. These include MIDI output, running SoundBow in the background, locking bows, syncing drawings and more. See some of those within SoundBow in Dub:
hi all product hunters, just a quick note: we've hopefully fixed midi issues with SoundBow when multiple apps are connected to the midi environment with the latest (1.3) release. hope that helps. keep on making good vibes & music. if you have any questions, why not ask here?

Great first effort. My expectations leaned a bit toward a easy way to "curate", patterns, melodies, music and rhythms. It is certainly a start in that direction. I'd need to play with it for a while to find it's core strength and capabilities.

This is so cool. Complexity of reading note music is a huge barrier to entry. Visualizing the experience is a great way to remove that barrier and just let the creativity flow.
version 1.5 is now available: export & share through audiocopy /// muting internal sounds (for seamless midi integration) are on the board. +++ SodaLib (the sound engine) will be open sourced next week --- stay tuned
