Snooze Tabby is a simple browser extension to snooze tabs for later. Found an interesting article or website while doing something important? Should you bookmark it and open it later? Problem is you don't even know if it's worth having bookmarked. And maybe you will forget all about it. Just snooze it for later and keep being focused now.
@devolino I've used tab snooze myself but experienced bugs where tabs would keep opening even after i deleted them and a few other bugs. It was last updated in 2015 and the developers are not going to make bug fixes, new features and so on.
I have a gotten a lot of inspiration from their bad reviews and suggestions. And i plan on building more features into the extension in the coming weeks.
PS: You can actually import tab snooze data into Snooze Tabby after you downloaded it, i built it so i could transfer to it quickly.

@devolino@jacecdk TabSnooze has been amazing for me. I saw that it also has 5/5 reviews, so not sure which bad reviews it's had. But yes, weird that it's not been updated in so long. I'll gives your's a try in that case.
Hi ProductHunt π
I'm super excited to present Snooze Tabby.
I often get distracted by something interesting, could be an article or a website.
Often i will let the tabs be open while im doing something important, but this takes up memory.
Sometimes i bookmark the website, but while i haven't had a chance to look at it, i don't know if the website is worth saving and sometimes i just forget all about it.
I used multiple extensions to fix this, but no one lived up to my expectation.
Some had bugs, some had inactive developers and some just didn't have the features im looking for.
So i created Snooze Tabby and plan on expanding with new features in the coming weeks.
Let me know if you have any questions!
@harrisonturton Thank you so much. Everything is saved, even when closing browser. Im also working on online backup and multi device syncing :)

@harrisonturton@jacecdk please work on it. I've been waiting for so long for someone to execute it right but alas, not many have been able to. I do hope that you plan on actively working on this.

@jacecdkΒ Hey Jacob, SnoozeTabby is the best snooze tab extension, and it would be amazing if you could bring it back to life with a V3 update. Can probably vibe code it back into life in an hour's time. Would you please consider it?
@martinolsansky Yes i have seen it.
So the difference is Snooze Tabby closes the tab and wakes up it later compared to The Great Suspender who keeps them open. And soon there will be cross device syncing. Example: You can snooze tabs at work and have them popup at home.
This extension is actually more a way to clean up tabs so you don't end up with 50 tabs because you keep finding something interesting but doesn't have time to check it out. (This is my use case, i often had 25-40 tabs open and they would just sit there forever until i had time to check it out)
I think i will have to change the description of this extension to fit the vision better.
In short: The Great Suspender focuses more on memory where this extension will try to focus on productivity.
@jacecdk are you still maintaining this great extension? If so, would be great if you can provide a setting to disable the warning when snoozing multiple tabs at the same time!
Can you do an extension like that, but for mobile? Primary so I can send URLs from my phone to be opened later on my desktop.
Don't need to develop a whole app from scratch, could start with a simple email/twitter/chat bit that would receive instructions from user on which links to open when. That would be sweet! π

I'm an avid user of snooze features in various browsers I was making the switch to Firefox because snooze tab the app that shares lots of the features of this one was abandonware and had serious glitches that made it trustless, I tried quantum just for the snooze tabs extension that Firefox team was developing but the progress was and still is VERY VERY SLOW, I βm happy to see someone pure the love into this tool. In Firefox there was no support at all for special tabs (like the extensions shortcuts or the suspended tabs) and the feature I use the most to-dos wasn't even in the roadmap, later on the revelation came I found about this app and after trying and trying to get this extension to work in Firefox, I almost surrender and went on with inferior Firefox versions, however I asked myself "why did I change to Firefox in the first place??" Iβm back at chrome using seamlessly the extension and just waiting for a way to support it and to see all the features the roadmap talks about being developed and sharing my feedback, so more people can use it
