Hey PH 👋 I'm Cade, maker of Snaptori.
Back when I worked a corporate job, vacations felt precious.
They were my chance to step away from work, clear my head, and think about what I wanted next.
A few years ago, I visited the Eiffel Tower.
Like everyone else, I took the photo.
It was beautiful.
It was impressive.
But honestly, I didn't think much beyond that.
Then later, I learned something I never knew.
When the Eiffel Tower was first built, many people hated it.
Some artists and intellectuals publicly criticized it.
Some even wanted it torn down.
Today, it's one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
I remember thinking:
"I wish I had known that while I was standing there."
Suddenly it wasn't just a landmark anymore.
It became a story about persistence, criticism, and believing in something before everyone else does.
As someone trying to build things of my own, that hit me harder than any travel photo ever could.
The more I traveled, the more I noticed the same thing everywhere.
Behind famous places, buildings, restaurants, monuments, and artworks were stories of people taking risks, solving problems, surviving failures, and leaving something behind.
Those stories often inspired me more than the places themselves.
The problem was that I usually discovered them after I got home.
Not while I was actually there.
So I built Snaptori.
Just point your camera at something that sparks your curiosity.
Instead of only telling you what it is, Snaptori tells you why it exists, how it came to be, and the story behind it.
My hope is simple:
That the next time you're standing somewhere amazing, you won't miss the part that actually matters.
I'd genuinely love your feedback.
Travel deeper. Stay curious.
