Hey Hunters 👋 Pierre here, solo maker of Snagify. I built this after watching landlords and tenants in Dubai fight over security deposits with nothing but blurry phone photos and a WhatsApp thread as "evidence." Move-out day would turn into a standoff: who caused that scratch? Was the wall already like that? Nobody could prove anything, and the tenant usually lost their deposit — or the landlord ate the repair cost. Every tool I found was either a clunky enterprise suite built for 500-unit portfolios, or a generic form builder that had no idea what a rental inspection actually needs. So I made Snagify. How does the AI photo analysis actually work in practice, like does it flag damage on its own or do you still have to label everything manually before generating the report?

Great question @zeliha229593239 . The AI does the first pass automatically, you photograph a room and it detects and flags issues like scratches, stains, paint wear or damage, and drafts a description for each. You're not labelling from scratch. What you keep is the final say: you review what the AI flagged, adjust or add anything it missed, then generate the report. So it's more of a co-pilot, it removes the tedious manual note-taking, but you stay in control of what ends up in the report.

@meral297601 The AI distinguishes condition levels (new / good / fair / damaged) and flags what stands out, but it's designed to assist judgment, not replace it. Nothing goes out automatically before the report is sent for signature, you review every item and confirm or adjust the AI's assessment. That human confirmation step is intentional: it keeps the report accurate and defensible, which matters when it's used for a deposit dispute.
