The team also ships improvements regularly, which is great to see. It's clear they're actively listening to users and continuing to invest in the product.

my favorite Smartlead feature is the ability to buy pre-warmed mailboxes

it lets me launch a cold email campaign in literally one day without having to set up the entire email infrastructure myself

What needs improvement

ux/ui and overall design could be improved, especially around the AI features. Right now, they don't feel particularly useful to me, and it's not clear how they fit into my workflow while using it

chose it without seriously considering alternatives because it’s been one of the leading platforms in this space for years. It has a proven track record, and I trust its security and reliability.

I run cold email at scale for my own lead gen and client work, and deliverability is the thing that makes or breaks it. Smartlead is the tool I keep coming back to for that. The warmups and inbox rotation keep my sends landing in the primary inbox instead of spam, and the unified master inbox means I'm not jumping between 20 mailboxes to manage replies. Setup was straightforward and their support has actually been responsive when I needed them. If your whole game depends on emails getting delivered, this is where I'd point you.

What needs improvement

The UI can feel a little less modern and takes a bit of getting used to at first. Nothing dealbreaking, and it's clearly getting better with updates.

vs Alternatives

Looked at a few other cold email platforms, but most either capped my sending or didn't give me the same control over deliverability. Smartlead's unlimited mailboxes and warmups plus the deliverability focus is what made me stick with it.
