Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Malin, and I built SkinFam because I've had eczema most of my life and never had a good way to actually track it. I'd jot things in random notes apps and forget half of what triggered a flare by the time I remembered to write it down.
So I built the diary I wish I'd had: log flares, severity, and possible triggers, and see your own patterns over weeks and months. It also works for tracking a kid's eczema if that's your situation.
Everything stays on your phone. No accounts, no ads, nothing ever uploaded. Free to start. Would love any feedback, happy to answer anything 💙

One thing I'd love is the ability to export my full history as a PDF or CSV that I can hand to my kid's dermatologist at appointments. It would make those conversations so much more useful instead of me scrolling through the app trying to describe patterns.

@dnebeendiyng3 this is already in SkinFam! In the History screen there’s a My Skin Story button where you can generate a PDF of everything you’ve logged. You choose the date range and pick what to include like skin ratings, triggers, sleep, scratching, photos and drawings, then share it however works for you. So many parents have said exactly this, scrolling through the app at an appointment is the worst! Would love to hear how it goes!

honestly the on-device thing is what got me to actually try it, super easy to log a flare in like 20 seconds. wish more health apps did this.

@orekmeral29034 This made my day honestly! That was one of the biggest things I wanted to get right. Nobody wants to spend five minutes logging how their skin feels, especially at the end of a long day or in the middle of a rough night with a little one. Twenty seconds and done is exactly what we were going for. And keeping everything on your own device just felt like the right thing to do, your skin diary should feel like yours. So glad you gave it a try!
