Sitova: Finnish legal documents online, free preview before you pay

I built Sitova because drafting a will in Finland often means either paying a lawyer's hourly rate or downloading a blank Word template and hoping you filled it in correctly.

Sitova sits in between. You answer one plain-language question at a time — no legal jargon, no empty form fields — and the service assembles a document draft based on Finnish law. You read the thing for free before deciding to pay anything, then download a PDF with instructions on signing, witnessing and storage.

Ten document types are live: wills, prenuptial agreements, continuing powers of attorney, promissory notes, deeds of gift, bills of sale, estate inventory deeds, estate distribution agreements and division of matrimonial assets.

Two things I deliberately did differently:

The preview is free. It felt wrong to ask people to pay for something they haven't read.

It tells you when to stop using it. If your situation involves a dispute, cross-border assets or an unusual estate, Sitova says so directly and recommends a lawyer instead of selling you a document that won't fit.

One honest caveat for this audience: Sitova is Finnish-only and built specifically around Finnish inheritance, marriage and contract law. If you're outside Finland you can't use it — but I'd still love feedback on the guided-questions approach, since the same problem exists in every jurisdiction.
