Hi everyone! I'm an indie iOS dev, and I built Simple Pattern because the iPhone's built-in vibration is just one boring buzz. I wanted to actually design how my phone feels (for focus, relaxation, and play) and share those patterns with someone else.
What it does:
- Play 8+ preset patterns, or use live Touch / Wave / Tap controls
- Design your own in a visual Pattern Studio, or turn any text into a vibration pattern
- Control a second phone remotely, nearby or over the internet, fully end-to-end encrypted
- Routes to iPhone, Apple Watch, game controllers, and Bluetooth devices at the same time
Two things that make it different:
1. It's 100% on-device and private. Haptics are generated locally, and remote sessions are end-to-end encrypted, so the relay server only ever sees encrypted blobs.
2. It's universal. One app drives your phone, watch, controller, and Bluetooth devices together, instead of locking you to a single piece of hardware.
The core (presets + live controls) is free, with an optional lifetime unlock for the Create studio and more.
Quick question for you: what would you actually use custom haptics for - focus, sleep, accessibility, gaming, something else? Tell me and I'll build patterns around it.

Finally a real haptic app on iPhone. The live touch control feels surprisingly responsive and the remote over internet works without any setup.
