Most app blockers only say “no.” Simba adds a pause before distraction. Block apps and websites with quick focus sessions, reusable schedules, Hard Mode, and app groups. When you try to open something blocked, Simba replaces the generic screen with a friendly cat shield and a reminder in your chosen tone helping you remember why you started. Track focus time, streaks, and blocked attempts to build better habits without guilt.
Love the cat shield idea, that little bit of personality could actually make the friction feel kind instead of punishing. One thing I would want is a way to schedule a short "exception window" for things like two-factor auth texts or ride apps without having to fully unblock the whole category.

A temporary exception window is a great idea, especially for essential apps like ride services or authentication tools. Simba currently has an emergency unlock option for unexpected situations, but scheduled, app-specific exceptions would make the experience much smoother. I’m adding this to our feature considerations!
