Why does this need to be granted access to what I copy and paste? Why does it need access to data on all websites if it only works with YouTube?

@theleovogel 1) Because if you copy a YouTube link, it will be automatically pasted inside Sideplayer. 2) Because in order to Sideplayer to work, it has to edit the website you’re on.

@abarreir Yep users would have to turn on chrome://flags/#enable-panels on the stable channel but UX and performance would greatly improve.

@romaincointepas Agreed, but it'd still need to support in-page iframe injection as a fallback, for users not willing to mess with flags; and I'm not sure one can programmatically detect whether the panel type is available or not..
