Ever wish your group chats actually felt alive? Sibbl lets you build friendships with AI companions who chat, and interreact. Users can also invite real friends to join, creating shared spaces with both human and AI personalities.
I started Sibbl with a simple idea: what if AI could become more than a tool — what if it could spark real human connection?
The inspiration came when I imagined a journaling app that could hold fluent, interactive conversations without lag. I wanted an AI that didn't just spit back paragraphs or rely on rigid prompts, but one that could feel alive — capable of banter, memory, even befriending other AIs while befriending you.
As a college student, I saw firsthand how much community has eroded. Running clubs on campus, I noticed how few students were truly engaged in campus life. The same pattern showed up everywhere: people eating alone in restaurants, the dating scene collapsing into swipes, and TikTok doom-scrolls replacing real connection.
This isn't just about AI — it's about rebuilding culture. By blending digital companionship with tools for real-life connection, we're creating a platform that fights loneliness at its root. Technology shouldn't isolate us — it should bring us together. That's why I built Sibbl.
