Most fishing apps hand you a map, a weather widget, and a feed of other people's catches — then leave you to guess. ShoalMap is different. It turns bathymetric depth data, weather, and water conditions into a clear, AI-driven read on where to fish and when to go. Built by anglers who fish big rivers like the Danube, it's the scouting tool we always wanted: less scrolling, more fish. Pick a spot, get a read, plan your session, then log your catch to sharpen the next read.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Strahinja, founder of SigmaJunction and the maker behind ShoalMap.
This one's personal. I'm a feeder angler — I spend my weekends on the Tisa and Danube chasing barbel, carp and bream — and I kept hitting the same wall: every fishing app could show me a map and a forecast, but none could actually tell me where to fish or when. That's still the hard part, and it's still left to guesswork.
So we built ShoalMap to answer it. It combines bathymetric depth data, weather and water conditions, and uses AI to turn all of that into a clear read on a spot — so you spend less time scrolling and more time with a bait in the water.
It's early and we're building it in the open. If you fish — or you've ever stared at a riverbank wondering where to start — I'd love your honest feedback, especially on what data you'd want us to add next. 🎣
