Ever get tired of creating App Store screenshots? I certainly did!

I built Shipper because preparing App Store screenshots for my own apps was taking too much time.

The first screenshot set was only the beginning.

Then I had to adapt it for different device formats, translate the text, and check that everything still matched Apple’s changing screenshot requirements.

On top of that, there was App Store metadata to update across languages, sometimes with every release.

I tried general-purpose design tools, but adapting formats and languages still involved too much work. I wanted one place to handle the whole process, from designing my screenshots to uploading them and my metadata to App Store Connect.

So yeah, I built Shipper!

Shipper is a native macOS app for app makers who want to spend less time preparing their App Store presence and more time building and marketing their apps.

It brings design, localization, and publishing together, so you can prepare your next release without constantly switching between tools and folders.

Here’s what you can do:

• Design your screenshot sets. Start with a template or create your own layouts, with customizable backgrounds, typography, and device mockups.

• Adapt your designs. Prepare screenshots for different device formats and specifications, including iPhone Duo, iPad, and Mac.

• Create Header and Search assets. Extend your app’s visual identity to the new App Store placements.

• Localize your store content. Use Auto-translate button to translate your screenshots and App Store metadata faster, or translate yourself.

• Preview. Review your App Store Product Page in a real App Store experience.

• Ship to App Store Connect. Upload your screenshots, assets and/or metadata in the specs and localization you want.

• Work with Codex. Use the Shipper Plugin to create screenshot sets, adapt them to different specifications, write or improve metadata, translate screenshot content, and upload to App Store Connect. Your designs stay editable in Shipper.
