Sheet2Nest was born from a simple frustration: professional nesting software is often expensive, complicated, and inaccessible for small fabrication shops, laser cutting businesses, and independent makers. We wanted to build a modern cloud-based alternative that lets you upload DXF files, optimize material usage, and generate efficient nests in minutes—without lengthy installations, steep learning curves, or enterprise pricing. Since launching, we’ve worked closely with fabricators, CNC operators, and laser cutting professionals to improve nesting quality, performance, and usability. Every feature has been shaped by real-world feedback. We’re still early and have a lot planned, including smarter nesting strategies, improved workflow automation, and deeper integrations with CAD and manufacturing tools.
