Share. Keep what your friends recommend. Songs, albums, podcasts, and videos shouldn’t get lost in your texts. Share gives them a home, with a sentence from the person who recommended them. Contacts, text saving, notifications, and reminders are optional. Availability and playback depend on each provider. Public YouTube and Rumble video shares must be at least three minutes long. Save it. Come back when you’re ready. Tell them what you thought.
Hi Product Hunt. I'm Micah. I'm a therapist, not a programmer, and I built Share to fix one problem: a friend sent me an album he produced, I meant to listen, and months later it was still sitting in a text thread I'd scrolled past a hundred times.
Share gives the things people send you a home. Links your friends text you can save automatically into a folder with their name on it (one-time Apple Shortcut setup). Any folder can become a playlist. Everything opens in whichever app you already use: Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, YouTube. And there's a message button for the moment you finally listen and want to tell them.
No comments, no algorithm, no ads, no in-app purchases. Just the people you know and what they think is worth your time.
