I built this for me initially. I have a podcast called Shadow English podcast, and this lets me just record my audio one time and I let Shadow Space create the spaces in between the spoken lines. I no longer have to insert pauses manually in Audacity. So this is a HUGE time saver for me. But then I realized shadowing is quite a popular technique in language learning, so I thought why not share this with the world so that other teachers/creators can gain benefits, and by extension, learners of second languages. I hope Shadow Space is useful to many!
