Settle It is a simple way to make quick polls and share them with a link. Type a question in one line, send the link to friends or family, and see the result as votes come in. It’s designed for everyday decisions like where to eat, when to meet, or what to do next. No accounts, no setup, no friction. Make a poll. Share the link. Decide.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Settle It because so many small decisions end up dragging on longer than they should. Things like where to eat, when to meet, or what to do next often don’t need a long discussion, just a quick way to decide together.
Settle It lets you create a poll in one line and share it with a link. No accounts, no setup, just something simple you can drop into a group chat and move on.
I’ve been using it with friends and family, and it’s been nice to remove a bit of friction from everyday decisions.
I’d love to hear how you’d use it, or what kinds of decisions you’d want to settle faster. Thanks for checking it out.

@karlhills the idea is good and it very minimal. But could we just use whatsapp poll. or what makes it different from that??
@aadi_720 Thanks for checking it out! Personally I use this text conversations with friends and family. A LOT of what are we going to have for dinner :). So I wanted it to be super easy and quick!

The UI looks super minimal and snappy. Do the polls expire automatically after a certain timeframe (like 24h) to keep the database clean, or do they stay live forever?
I love how straightforward this is. It feels ideal for those ‘where do we eat?’ moments. Curious if you’re planning features like limiting votes to one per person?

Love the simplicity - type a question, share a link, decide! The no-account approach is brilliant for quick decisions. I'm curious - does Settle It use any AI features? For example, do you use LLMs like Claude or GPT to suggest poll options, analyze voting patterns, or help summarize results? Would be interesting to see AI-powered decision insights! 🗳️
@yash_salvi That my kids actually liked it and used it with their friends! That rarely happens :)

@karlhills That’s actually a huge validation. If kids adopt it naturally, it usually means the UX is doing its job. Did that change how you think about expanding use cases beyond everyday decisions?

@namra_parejiya For me it's all about simplicity. No accounts, no signups, one field and you're done! Thanks for checking it out!
I like how low effort this is. What surprised you most about how people used it once you shared it with early users?

@yash_salvi At this point that's all I've been focused on. But we'll see where it goes, maybe there's some bigger decisions that need to be tackled!
minimal and useful! can participants also see the results on the same link?
