I started building Semfora as a side project almost two years ago. The Original purpose was just to help a friend of mine debug broken code at his companies regular 50k+ line releases. Over the next year and a half, I added features, rebuilt to add in MCP usage, and then finally reached a point where I was confident I had numbers that nobody else has. I can see infinite loops or database issues from a mile away in all 30 languages I support, and the 100+ other tools and file types I can pull in. I have the GitHub PRs to prove it. This isn't some graph tool. This isn't an AI tool either. Check it out, and you will see that it is much more. I can tell very accurately in most projects, the exact commit where developers started using coding agents, as the patterns are unmistakable. And, I have proof that by keeping the health score up on your projects, you can reduce token spend, reduce burnout, and reduce incidents. Hi, I'm Jeremy, founder of Semfora. We launch here on Tuesday, July 28th, and I have been waiting a long time to write that sentence. The one-sentence version: Semfora maps how a repository changes, supports cited investigation and merge review, and keeps the evidence behind engineering decisions retrievable. We think of it as the code-evidence layer for AI governance in software delivery.

The problem, plainly: AI tools have increased the speed and volume of software change, but engineering leaders still own what reaches production. The tools around you already hold pieces of the evidence, in code hosts, scanners, observability, tickets, and AI reviewers, and the decision record ends up fragmented across all of them.
