@shinjikim @przemek_kuczynski really awesome to see this live and in the wild! The problem and finding and understanding data sets is so common these days — we are “drowning in data” is something I hear a lot — but SelectStar is a platform that helps sift out what matters with practical tools that help you discover and manage your diverse set of data warehouses and use of those. Amazing stuff @shinjikim and team!!

Hey @gabe, I'm glad you like the concept! 🤩 - We do have support for Slack. You can search through the catalog directly in Slack as well as get notifications about changes in Select Star. - No direct support for Google Sheets but we do have a Client REST API you can use to integrate with any other tool you'd like - We also support sending webhook notifications for events in Select Star (for example we use it with Zapier) - We also support importing metadata into Select Star from CSV (e.g. descriptions that are missing in your data warehouse) We're also all ears 👂 and once we hear demand for a use case with direct integration for more social apps or Google Sheets we'll definitely go down that path. Would any of the solutions above help with your potential use case?

Our main differentiation is Fast time to value - you can see all your metadata, popularity, data lineage being generated within 24hours of connecting your DWH & BI today regardless of how big your DWH might be. If you use open source projects or other vendors this usually takes several weeks to get your data catalog up & running in production.

We love to use SelectStar - it helps us to manage lineage between our tables in BigQuery and Tableau dashboards. Also helpful with documentation and data source sharing and governance.
