Big numbers are hard to feel. SeeTheScale turns them into graphics you can grasp – stacks of $100 bills, a football field and more. Browse curated comparisons with sources or build your own, by hand or with AI. Free to try, no account needed.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Lino, and I built SeeTheScale.
Something I keep noticing: we humans just can't grasp big numbers. 100 million sounds like a lot. 100 billion also sounds like a lot. Yet 100 billion is a thousand times as much. Or the universe: it's 13.8 billion years old, while a human life lasts about 80 years. You know that, but you can't really feel it.
So I made something that lets you see the difference instead of just reading it. Two numbers become one graphic, for example:
💵 Stacks of $100 bills (a billion dollars is over half a mile high!)
⚽ A football field, where the big number is the whole field and the small one just a little patch on it
⏱️ Seconds: if the small number took one second, how long would you count to reach the big one?
And there are a few more views to discover.
Every number comes with a source. You can also build your own comparisons, either by hand or with a little help from AI. You give it a source link and it fills in the form, but it has to show exactly where each number comes from.
You can share everything as an image or a GIF, or embed it on your site. It's free, and you can try it without an account (only the AI helper needs one).
I'd really love to hear what you think:
Would you use graphics like these, maybe in a post, a presentation or a lesson?
Is it fun to just browse through the comparisons?
Any feedback would mean a lot to me. Thanks so much for taking a look! 🙏
