Hey Product Hunt 👋🏾 I’m hunting SecureHoods because neighborhood safety today feels either too chaotic (random WhatsApp groups, noisy socials) or too top‑down (CCTV systems you never see, dashboards you never touch). SecureHoods gives everyday residents and local organizers a simple, structured way to report incidents, verify what’s actually happening, and keep everyone nearby in the loop—without turning your street into a surveillance zone or another spammy group chat.
I’d love feedback on two things in particular: 1) does the product feel like the right balance between safety and privacy (e.g., what should be anonymous vs. attributable) and 2) how you’d want alerts and notifications to behave so it feels high‑signal, not overwhelming. If you’ve tried other tools for neighborhood or community safety before, I’m especially interested in what frustrated you there and what would make SecureHoods an everyday essential for you and your neighbors.
