This has been my learn-to-code, pandemic, indie project. My goal has been to build something personal, useful, and profitable. It's been quite a journey up to this point with a long way to go, but I'm excited to finally get my product in front of the PH audience!

@mattli Love this idea! I'm an avid journaler myself. I always wanted an app that could give me prompts from different categories so I can go deeper with my writing. That could be a cool feature for the future :).

Out of curiosity when it comes to journaling I know there's positive effects to writing down, but what do you think about the recapping of the writing experience? E.g. When people eventually read back. Is this as important as the writing down?
@leojbarnett Thanks Leo! Much appreciated. I have to assume there are benefits to reflecting on past entries, but I'll admit I usually just write and never look back, either out of fear or laziness 😅
@jakub_zelazny Thanks Jakub! It's been a bit stressful because I invested a fair amount of time and energy into supporting the launch, and anticipating launch day, but it can be different for everyone!

This looks preety and interesting for someone who loves journaling like myself, kudos on the launch Matt!

Suggestion:
A few years ago, I purchased Storyworth for my mom so as to retain the memories from her life - think you could look into a similar feature (especially with the wonderful addition of audio entries, which Storyworth doesn't offer). It's like prompted journalling about your life. What Storyworth does is they print it out as a book with text and photos at the end.
Your audio offering would be way more appealing to some folks who are less computer-literate, so I would really recommend looking into this and testing the UI with older generations!
