ScrapeNinja.net is a set of tools and a simple API for web scraping tasks: it handles browsers; rotates proxies and leverages smart retry strategy to retrieve the content you need.
Hey fellow hunters! My name is Anthony, and I am thrilled to finally launch my bootstrapped product, ScrapeNinja.net, on ProductHunt. If you have ever tried to extract useful data from a random website on a regular basis, you know it might be a tedious task. You need to figure out how to retrieve the website response, then parse the HTML and extract content from it, test everything thoroughly, and ensure it runs smoothly in production. Internet is full of online tutorials "how to do web scraping in Python" but in reality, websites are becoming increasingly difficult to scrape, especially if you want to extract the data continuously and you don't want to fix your web scraper every day, dealing with retries, proxies, and running headless browsers. This is where ScrapeNinja comes into play: it handles all the complexity of running headless browsers, HTML parsing, and proxy rotation, and provides a simple API to use it. As I built web scrapers and spent countless hours setting up new projects, repeating the same data extraction and proxy testing process, I built ScrapeNinja to make my life easier, and now ScrapeNinja is ready to help others to run web scrapers faster and with less headache.
I will sincerely appreciate your feedback on ScrapeNinja website design and, what's more important, your experience building web scrapers in ScrapeNinja Sandbox, and using its API. Cheers!

@pixeljetter Congratulations on the launch! For people who want to know some statistical data, ScrapeNinja.net will be a very useful product. I'm wondering if the underlying technology of this product is also based on Python web scraping?
@shiyuntang thanks Sharry! The tech stack of ScrapeNinja is Node.js and C++ (for the part of the network stack which is used for the high performance scraping engine which is launched on /scrape endpoint)
How's everything?
Wow wow wow! Swiss army knife :)
Great job on getting ScrapeNinja on Product Hunt!
I've only got a single question. What motivated you to create it?
@new_user_126293be17 thank you! My major motivation was my laziness, I was tired of solving the same scraping related tasks again and again :)

Congratulations on launching ScrapeNinja.net, Anthony! This is an amazing product that will undoubtedly make web scraping much easier for many users.
As the founder of Ruum, a remote podcast recording app (https://ruum.cc/en/), I can see several ways in which ScrapeNinja could be beneficial for our product. One idea is to use it to scrape competitor websites to gather information on new podcasting features or updates in the industry.
We could also use ScrapeNinja to extract data from podcast directories or social media sites to identify potential podcasters who could benefit from using Ruum. We could also use ScrapeNinja to extract data from relevant websites to gather insights into our target audience's preferences and pain points, which could help us tailor our marketing efforts more effectively.. Additionally, we could use it to monitor other podcasting apps for mentions of our own product, to help us stay informed of what our users are saying about Ruum.
Overall, ScrapeNinja seems like a powerful tool that could provide us with valuable data to help us improve our product and better understand our target audience. Congratulations again on the launch, and thank you for creating such a useful product!
@shebentovsky thanks Andrey! Yeah scraping competitors and leads is a pretty popular sales strategy now. I will be happy to answer your questions if you have any! Good luck with Ruum, sounds like a great product indeed!
Congratulations on the launch! I have to agree, web scraping can be an awful task, and really hard for people who are not programmers. So ScrapeNinja seems like a game-changer! We at Adstra are fans of low-code and no-code solutions, they usually make your life so much easier. Good product!
@nick_harrision web scraping might be useful for most of companies, it's particularly useful in lead generation automation, we just need to brainstorm :)

Allows us to scrape a lot of client sites for analysis with ease. We use this in our own Laravel application. The PHP SDK could be better, so we are using our own integration so we have better control over the options. Support is great too, but the documentation could be a bit better. All in all I'm super happy to have this in my tool belt.
