Offline-first dashboard with auto-sync on WiFi connection

Traditional Windows “privacy” tools were built for ads, cookies, and trackers. Sceptrum is built for the AI era — where powerful apps can read your files, watch your screen, and talk to LLMs in the background. On-device, always All analysis happens locally on your machine. We don’t collect, upload, or sell your activity data. Unified visibility Camera, microphone, file, network, and AI calls — all surfaced in one signal feed you can actually understand.

Hey everyone, I’m the founder here! Sceptrum is an offline-first dashboard built for freelancers and small teams who can’t afford to lose work when the internet drops (Jio/Airtel crashes, village Wi-Fi, travel, etc.). Key things it does right now: → Works 100 % offline – type, save, everything stays safe → Auto-syncs the second internet is back → End-to-end encrypted (your client data never touches our servers unencrypted) → Super lightweight – runs smooth even on 2G or low-end phones → Completely free for the first 100 people who join today Live demo (no signup needed): https://sceptrum.is-a.software Would love your brutal feedback – what’s missing? What should I build next? First 100 who comment “SCEPTRUM” or DM me get lifetime free access. Thanks for checking it out! 🙌

@s_aditya1 congrats! Does it support multiple devices syncing once internet is back?

s aditya

@masump Thank you! Yes — once the connection is restored, Sceptrum securely syncs all offline changes across every device you use. Everything updates automatically in the background. We're launching soon, and you can register now to be part of the early access group.

@s_aditya1  Love the focus here, “offline-first” is such an underrated need, especially for freelancers in regions where connectivity is inconsistent. Most dashboards assume Silicon Valley Wi-Fi, but real work happens on trains, in rural areas, during outages, and on low-end devices. Sceptrum leaning into that reality is a smart angle.

End-to-end encryption + auto-sync once you’re back online is a killer combo. Plenty of tools claim privacy or offline mode, but very few are genuinely usable when the internet fully drops.

Tried the demo, surprisingly fast and lightweight. Curious what you’re planning next: team collaboration? client portals? richer tracking? There’s a big opportunity here to become the resilient workspace for makers who can’t rely on stable connectivity.

Great launch, excited to see where you take it.

@fernando_scharnick Thanks so much — you captured our thinking perfectly. Most tools assume perfect Wi-Fi, but real work happens on trains, in rural areas, and on low-end laptops. That’s where offline-first becomes essential, not optional.

We built Sceptrum so everything saves instantly on-device, stays encrypted, and syncs automatically when you’re back online. No freezes, no lost drafts.

And yes — collaboration, client portals, and smarter tracking are all things we’re exploring, but always through an offline-first lens.

Really appreciate the support. More updates soon.

@s_aditya1 Excited to see how you approach collaboration and client portals with that same offline-centric mindset. If you keep that foundation, Sceptrum is going to become indispensable for a lot of freelancers and small teams. Looking forward to the next updates!

This hits close. My train Wi‑Fi drops every hour and I end up losing notes. Offline-first + auto-sync is clutch. The AI call feed is the bit I’m most curious about—does it map calls to specific apps/processes? Will try on an old ThinkPad tonight.

s aditya

@alexcloudstar Love hearing this — that train Wi-Fi pain is exactly why we built an offline-first workflow. Sceptrum saves everything locally and auto-syncs the moment your connection comes back, so you never lose a note again.

And yes, the AI call feed does map calls to the specific apps and processes that trigger them. You can see which app is accessing your mic, camera, files, or network in real time — and Sceptrum surfaces only the signals that matter, not noise.

We’re launching soon, and it should run great on an old ThinkPad. If you want early access, feel free to register!

Finally a dashboard that doesn't just spin a loading wheel when my internet drops. The lightweight/low-end device support is a huge plus for accessibility. Nice work.

s aditya

@govindsajitAppreciate it! We built Sceptrum to stay responsive even when the internet drops — no spinning wheels, no freezes. Everything saves on-device first, so it feels smooth even on older laptops.

We’re launching soon, so feel free to join early access!

Wow, Sceptrum looks amazing! The offline-first dashboard with auto-sync is a game changer. How does the local analysis handle different file types and potential compatibility issues? Super interested!

s aditya

@jaydev13 Thank you! Really appreciate it. Our goal with Sceptrum was to make offline work feel completely natural — everything saves locally first, and sync happens only when it’s safe to do so.

About local analysis: Sceptrum doesn’t try to “interpret” or modify your files. Instead, it treats every file type as a secure object. We store them in an encrypted local vault and only extract lightweight metadata (like timestamps, size changes, or basic structure) that helps the dashboard stay updated.

This means there are no compatibility issues — PDFs, images, text docs, design files, code files… everything remains intact. Sceptrum never alters the file itself, and the sync engine simply pushes the updated encrypted version when the internet returns.

We’re launching soon, and we’d love to have you in early access!

@s_aditya1 Indeed, I was thinking along the same lines and you confirmed it. Please count me in and yeah Thanks for internal working explanation. I will explore more. I am hunting my product next week, would love to have you try it out!
