@evivz yes and no, the idea is that you get back something human readable and easy to type when you're not sending the link over email or something. Bitly links are a pain to type out, especially on touch devices.

This is a cool idea, but I would love to see a chrome extension with it.
@sfotyler I do plan on making a chrome extension/bookmarklet/mobile apps, time permitting. Follow the twitter account to stay updated @sayableapp I promise to not tweet too much!

this is so cool and useful! One of the limitations of things like bit.ly is always the inability to transfer nicely from device to device without email etc. This genuine solves a problem for me!

If I enter the same url, it generates a new 3 word phrase each time. Are the phrases/urls not being indexed?
I like the idea!
The barrier to use is having to visit sayable.co to use or create the link. I'd love to see add-on so I can just type into my browser's address bar or easily create a phrase for a url.
Maybe an even simpler solution would be to add a query url param so I can teach chrome that "say than hat love" should be sayable.co/?q='than hat love' and I can go straight to the website.

Interesting, Podcasters might be able to find some value in this.
I went on there and was very confused as to why I would want this. Thought about it for a second then went "genius". It's brilliant. I am opening links all over the place in my office. Don't have to message or email at all now. Thank you
