Hi PH community!
I built SaveNinjas because I was doing something deeply unserious with my time: checking the same product pages again and again like the price might drop just because I looked at it hard enough.
It never worked.
I’d keep tabs open, forget why they were there, come back later, and either miss the deal or end up doing the same weird little “maybe today?” routine all over again. At some point I realized I didn’t need more willpower, I needed software.
So I built SaveNinjas 🥷
The idea is simple:
paste a product URL, choose how you want to be notified, and let the app keep watch for you.
Right now it supports:
- email
- browser push
- SMS
- WhatsApp
More channels are on the way, because apparently people enjoy being notified in many different ways that they are spending less money. What I wanted to make wasn’t just another tracker, but something that felt easy to use:
- no browser extension
- quick setup
- clear dashboard
- notifications that actually meet you where you are
A lot changed while building it. It started as a pretty basic “track a price, send an email” tool, but it slowly turned into something more useful: a way to stop babysitting product pages and let the right alert come to you instead.
Would love your feedback on:
- the overall flow
- which alert channels you’d actually use
- what would make this useful enough to become part of your shopping habits
