Why Saillo? - I built Saillo during one of the lowest points in my life when I didn’t want advice or toxic positivity. I just wanted a space to process what I was feeling. So I started writing things down. That act, journaling, reflecting and slowing down, helped me survive the noise. Saillo was born from that need: a quiet, non-judgmental space for people like me who aren’t ready for therapy, but also don’t want to feel alone. What's new? - Unlike typical AI apps that focus on productivity or performance, Saillo is built around emotional presence. It doesn’t push solutions, it listens. It connects journaling, mood tracking, and gentle AI companionship in one place. It’s minimal, intentional, and designed to feel like a soft place to land when the world feels overwhelming. Most mental health tools either feel clinical or overly chatty. Saillo stays quiet when you need silence, and shows up when you ask, like a friend. What are you most proud of? - That it feels human! Users have told me Saillo made them feel heard. Not “fixed”, just heard. That’s all I ever wanted this to be. Also, I’m proud I built it while navigating the lowest point of my life. Saillo isn’t just a product, it’s a reflection of resilience.
