As someone who travels and works abroad, SafetyWing has been a lifesaver. They've recently revamped their website, and the new look and feel are fantastic. The claim process, which used to be somewhat cumbersome, is now much more efficient and user-friendly. I must give a shout-out to their customer service team—they are truly amazing and have always provided top-notch service. Highly recommended!!!

Great UX, super friendly, easy to use, quick to both enter insurance claims and get paid. Customer service through the chat is super helpful as well if you need a quick answer regarding insurance coverage or any help through your claim or payment. I've had cases where my refund was processed and received in less than 24 hours!

Honestly, the service of SafetyWing has decayed a lot in the past few months. I've been using SafetyWing for more than a year now and in the beginning I had nothing bad to say, however in the past few months there's been several issues. They advertised in the beginning of the year that claims would be reviewed and reimbursed faster (7 days or less) and if I can be honest it was even faster than that, but in the last month or two they changed this for 10 - 15 days (and it's really 10 - 15 BUSINESS days) for someone that made a whole meeting about the things they were changing for best and then some months later they just changed it back, speaks a lot. 2 months ago I've made a claim for a specialised doctor that despite taking some days to be reimbursed it was reimbursed, but for my surprise, I've made a 2nd doctor appointment (exactly the same appointment as before) and this one came rejected with an explanation that even makes any sense (the idea that gives me was that the person who reviewed this claim didn't had any idea what that specialised doctor was and it didn't take some time to search it). After this, I've sent an e-mail to safetywing, they replied that I needed to make an appeal to their other e-mail and it would take 5 business days to reply, which I did on the last 15th May, 12 days have passed and until this day I didn't receive any reply, not even saying that my case was being analysed. I've spoke with someone on safetywing website but even them didn't know anything and the only information they gave me was that "I needed to wait they will eventually get back to you", when asked about an e-mail to make a proper complaint they said they didn't had it. So, if you have any problems with this company rest assured that you don't have a way to complaint and they will not solve the issued they made for themselves. I have already sent 2 more emails to their appeals e-mail but all of them without a reply - I feel that this company is starting to be a scam as they don't reply to customers, reject all claims without a proper explanation and when we make an appeal they just ignore.

Having gone about as a solo traveler for the past month, Nomad Insurance has secured peace of mind in my psyche. This included wide-ranging coverage of the profile, such as health, travel, and gear insurance. More so, the easy online policy setup process and transparent pricing with no hidden fees gave me peace of mind. I had to ask a few questions so far. Their customer service was very responsive and they gave me detailed answers. However, I didn't need to make a claim, which gave me extra confidence in the fact that they offer real-time claim processing. They understood well the travel requirements of digital nomads and solo travelers. I did feel safe the whole time traveling and would recommend it to anyone who needs reliable and flexible insurance coverage. Thanks, Nomad Insurance, for a great experience!

I get SafetyWing insurance from my employer. I have only positive experience with them. Customer support is great, interface is great, the whole insurance package is great. I've seen some negative reviews about SW, maybe their b2b offer is their strongest side, as far as I can tell.

They take a lot of time to response and ask for for documents that was impossible to obtain given that I was travelling (since it’s a travel insurance) and I couldn’t go back to ask the doctor and put the date my symptoms started in the medical record. They never answered back about my complain. Wish I read the reviews before wasting money with them.

I wanted to share some positive feedback about our experience with SafetyWing insurance, which has been offered by our remote-only company for approximately two years now. Personally, I have found it to be incredibly convenient and reassuring to have this coverage, especially considering the nature of our remote work. One of the standout features for me has been the ability to easily request refunds from anywhere in the world. While I haven't encountered any urgent situations that required immediate assistance, knowing that I have the safety net of SafetyWing to protect my health and well-being provides a significant sense of relief. Overall, I've been very pleased with the level of coverage and the convenience of accessing support when needed. It's certainly been a valuable asset in ensuring peace of mind while working remotely.

I was hospitalised in Vientiane, Laos, due to an emergency that occured as a result of a fall. Instead of reimbursing the hospital bill, I was asked to request for a discount from the hospital which is unheard-of in this part of the world. They were also asking numerous question that suggest that they were doubtful of my injury despite the operation and doctor's notes that were done. It was abhorently unprofessional the way my case was handled, they did not provide me with any reimbursement despite the agonising back and forth emails and calls. Would not recommend it. Abhorrently disgusting!

A scam. Most of the positive reviews here are from people who never had to claim the policy (or bot accounts possibly, see how they all have the same writing style) The sign up process is butter smooth (that should have given me a clue in the first place), but once you need to use the policy they'll exploit anything they can to avoid paying, even if it's unrelated. I had to be taken urgently into a hospital for 4 days, and they exploited some prior minor cold symptoms to claim "pre-existence". They won't even elaborate on why, nor you'll get to discuss it, you'll simply get an email with "pre-existing conditions are not covered" They even have a section called "Emergency treatment of a pre-existing illness or injury" that states that "emergency treatment of a pre-existing illness or injury is covered". Forget about that, it doesn't matter Luckily I had another, real and serious insurance, that did cover everything, backing up my point
