Hey PH! I built this because I kept seeing SaaS founders track MRR religiously but have no clue whether their underlying numbers were actually healthy for their stage.
Is 5% monthly churn bad? Depends on your ARPC, your NRR, how fast you're growing. Most founders don't have a frame of reference — they just know their revenue number and hope for the best.
The scorecard asks 8 questions across 5 dimensions — retention, pricing, growth, unit economics, and how often you actually review your metrics. You get a grade from A+ to C and it tells you exactly where the weak spot is.
This came out of building North Metric, where we connect to Stripe and run AI agents that catch revenue leaking — churn risk, failed payments nobody retried, accounts ready for an upgrade that aren't being asked. Our early adopters found 14.6% of their MRR was recoverable or expandable and they had no idea.
The scorecard is the quick self-check. For founders who want to go deeper, the full platform shows you the real numbers with benchmarks against hundreds of SaaS companies.
Would love to hear your grade and whether it matched your gut.

Took the scorecard out of curiosity and was surprised how honest the grading felt, especially the weak spot it called out around our pricing review cadence. Quick and genuinely useful for a gut check.

@asel6akf Thank you Asel, this made my launch day 🙏 That pricing-cadence flag is the one almost nobody expects and it’s exactly where our agents earn their keep.
Once you connect Stripe, they quietly watch for the stuff a scorecard can only hint at: accounts sitting on the wrong plan, upgrades nobody’s asking for, revenue that should’ve moved but didn’t. The grade tells you where to look; the agents actually go look. Glad the gut check landed either way!

Cool idea. I wonder if instead of answering questions you could have this hook into somebodies existing analytics platform so it's more unbiased?

@averychernin Totally agree — self-reported answers are the scorecard's honest limitation, it's meant as a fast gut check. That's actually the whole reason the full platform exists: North Metric connects straight to your Stripe data and the agents grade you off the real numbers, no questionnaire. Same idea, just unbiased. You basically described our roadmap in one sentence 😄
