RunPlan is a free, Apple Watch-first running coach. Complete, periodized plans from 5K to marathon following the classic methodologies (Daniels, Pfitzinger, Higdon) — they run entirely from the wrist: live intervals, pace targets, haptic cues, no iPhone needed on the run. Paces come from a race you've actually run. No subscription, no account, no ads. Nine languages. The plan engine is open source.

Hi PH — we're Dan and Katya. For the last year and a half we've been making the running coach we always wanted to exist — basically Garmin Coach, but for Apple Watch.
You tell RunPlan what you're training for — 5K to marathon — and when. It builds the whole plan: every week to race day, every workout, every pace derived from a race you've actually run. Then your Apple Watch runs it from your wrist. The plans don't come from a content team or an LLM — they come from a deterministic Swift package that encodes the classic coaching canon (Daniels, Pfitzinger, Higdon), and it's open source. So if you disagree with why Tuesday says 6×800m, the code that decided it is right there.
It's free. What happens later we haven't decided, but the one thing we're sure of: we don't want your subscription — running is already the cheapest sport there is. Give it a try and tell us where it's wrong.
