Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built RoundWatch around a simple problem: autonomous agents can complete useful work, but the workflow still needs reliable evidence that payment actually settled before moving on. RoundWatch observes x402 settlement, advances state only after successful settlement evidence, and persists that state across restarts. The goal is to give agentic workflows a durable boundary between “work completed” and “safe to continue.” The current prototype has been validated on Algorand TestNet, including restart recovery and future-payment detection after the observer is already running. I built this launch with GPT-6 Astra for the Astra Challenge. Astra helped shape the product, architecture, and public launch experience, while settlement verification itself remains deterministic infrastructure. I’d especially value feedback from people building agent infrastructure, x402 services, or payment-driven workflows: where would a durable settlement observer actually save you engineering time?

What happens if payment settles and your agent crashes before saving it?

So I ran into a pretty annoying problem while building RoundWatch, and I m curious how others deal with this.

Catching the moment a blockchain payment happens? Honestly, that s the easy part.

The real headache starts when something breaks mid-flight:
Your agent finishes the job -> the payment goes through on-chain -> but the system crashes right before updating the local state.

When everything boots back up, how does your system know what actually went down? If you don't handle this right, you risk double-spending, losing track of progress, or getting stuck trying to resolve a payment that s already settled.
